John Lithgow

I love getting to photograph great characters so when I was asked to shoot John Lithgow for a Venice Art mag called FORTH I was excited. I remember John in 3rd Rock from the Sun, a very funny sitcom and the movie Harry and the Henderson's. He is one of those faces that have been working TV and Movies for many years. I love his work and it was great to meet him.

Who knew that John is a portrait painter and a good one? I photographed John while he was painting and then he posed for a cover image for me. What a sweet guy. This is my favorite image.

Eliza Magazine

This is a fashion piece I did for Eliza Magazine on kids clothes. I don't usually work with kids but we had fun with the little time we had to shoot this.

GenLux Magazine - Origami

The new issue of GenLux Magazine will be out on the 13th of Aug, the issues theme is Tokyo. I was asked to come up with a concept to fit the theme. Huge Origami Cranes was one of my pitches. GenLux loved it and I swiftly turned to my friend Shepherd (a great Production Designer) to introduced me to an artist friend of his. Jess then taught me in a few hours how to make a crane. I went home and practiced so I wouldn't forget. Each night I pull out some cool paper and folded so it would become second nature. My new favorite Crane is the Meat Crane made from the newspaper ads that come each week showing all the prime meat cuts. I'll upload a pic for you tomorrow.
